Born and raised in Sonoma County, Allison brings a deep personal commitment and local insight to their role as President & CEO of the Redwood Empire Food Bank. With a strong background in the nonprofit sector and a passion for community service, Allison leads the organization with compassion, integrity, and a relentless drive to end hunger across Northern California.Since 1987, the Redwood Empire Food Bank has served as a vital lifeline for individuals and families in need. Under Allison’s leadership, the Food Bank continues to expand its reach and impact, distributing nutritious food through direct service programs and a robust network of partner organizations across Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte counties.
In 2024 alone, the Food Bank distributed enough food for over 25.8 million meals—an achievement made possible by the collaboration of 10,000 generous donors, 11,000 volunteers, 110 food donors, 82 dedicated staff members, and 150 human service partners. Allison emphasizes that while the mission is simple—feeding our neighbors in need—the execution is a daily logistical and human effort that demands innovation, coordination, and heart.
A proud parent of five and a devoted advocate for animal welfare, Allison and their family foster animals through a local rescue organization. She is inspired every day by the stories of resilience and generosity from the community they serve, and remains committed to the belief that everyone deserves access to healthy food and the dignity that comes with it.
