0ur SERVICES AND EVENTS ARE A MIX OF IN-PERSON, ZOOM AND HYBRID

Shabbat morning services are at 9:45 a.m. in person and on Zoom, preceded by Torah study with Rabbi Koas at 8:45 a.m. When Rabbi Koas is not here, there is no 9:00 am study session and lay-led services begin at 9:30 a.m. for preliminary Psukei d’Zimra, with Shacharit at 9:45. A light potluck lunch follows all Shabbat morning services. See Kashrut guidelines Our Shabbat services are a true hybrid with active participants on Zoom. Masks and hand sanitizer are available; please attend on zoom instead of in person if you are ill. See Zoom links page for the link.
Friday evenings in person and on Zoom with Rabbi Ron Koas.
6:00 pm Kabbalat Shabbat service. Once a month, when there is no monthly Shabbat dinner, dinner after services is potluck. See Kashrut guidelines.
One Friday night of the month Shabbat dinners at CBA: Join us for Shir Shabbat services with Rabbi Koas and the musicians of Klezmer Creek at 6:00 pm live and on Zoom, followed by a scrumptious dinner prepared by David Kahn, with help from many volunteers. On one Friday a month, Leah Gerber leads a short and very sweet musical Sing In Shabbat service at 6:00 pm, concluding with our communal Zoom Kiddush (have your wine handy!) at about 6:30 pm. We hope that joining as a community in this way, will lift all of our spirits, with the beauty and holiness of Shabbat.
Saturday Shabbat morning Torah study with Rabbi Ron Koas at 8:45 a.m. followed by 9:45 a.m. services in person and on Zoom, lead by Rabbi Ron Koas and congregants. There are hearing assistance devices for in-person attendees and captioning available on Zoom.
Complete High Holiday information is in the pdfs linked below. We do not charge to attend High Holiday services. RSVPs for guests are needed, donations help us to keep our doors open, and we are very grateful for that.
September we have no catered Shabbat dinner. September 4th is a potluck with Klezmer Creek playing at the service.
Sept. 5th Selichot at 7:30 begins with a potluck, then dressing the Torahs in holiday white, and a short service.
Sept 11th Erev Rosh Hashanah with Rabbi Koas and cantorial soloist Jessie. Champagne/Apple Cider and Honey Cake oneg.
Rosh Hashanah day one is Saturday, Sept. 12th,
2nd day Sunday Sept. 13, both days with Rabbi Koas and cantorial soloist Jessie. Tashlich is on Sunday. Flyer: Tashlich 2026
Erev Yom Kippur – Kol Nidre on Sunday Sept. 20th with Rabbi Koas and cantorial soloist Jessie
Break-the-fast is on Mon. Sept 21st in CBA Social Hall, RSVP by Sept 16th at noon. There is a cost for this meal
Sukkot starts on Friday, Sept 25th, with pizza in the hut and music A lulav and etrog may be purchased through Beth Ami.
