We will have a Beth Ami group zoom from our social hall Sunday, December 22, 2024 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Everyone interested in learning more about Jewish Indian music come to CBA on Sunday, December 22, 2pm. Rahel Musleah will speak on JEWISH CALCUTTA THROUGH MUSIC AND MEMORY. . .
on ZOOM, sponsored by the SF Jewish Community library. We’ll have discussion and refreshments following. NO READING NECESSARY. Long-time CBA book group regular, Barb McGee, will be our expert technical asst. ALL WELCOME. CBA members and friends. Of course, one can listen to this talk and any of the others described in the SFJC library’s Fall/Winter pamphlet available in the CBA lobby home alone, but we thought it would be fun to enjoy with friends. Due to Cyber-security issues, we all need to contact the SFJC library ahead of time to receive a special ZOOM address and be on their list of attendees.
Anyway, our CBA book group connection to the SFJC Library is that we belong to their Book Club in a Box. We will have 12 copies of Mary Glickman’s AIN’T NO GRAVE here to borrow as of Friday, Dec. 13. It is also
available as an audio book and e-book through the SF lib. They have no waiting lists for this title. Unlimited copies. We will probably discuss it in person on Sunday, Jan. 19. More info later. Questions and comments to Linda (707) 544-4532..
