I gave an update on safe parking facility and some members expressed interest in helping people with forms for social services. We also talked about making sandwiches monthly. I have a call into Catholic Charities for details. I will get back to everyone soon .
Resurrection Church at 303 Stony Point Rd seems to be an effective location to drop off clothing, hygiene items. It is basically a clearing house for items that get distributed to Catholic Charities facilities . They are open for drop off M-F from 9:00 -5:00. On Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 they separate and organize the items .
They particularly need .towels, single sheets, jeans, sleeping bags. Items should be clean and in good condition.
We discussed going to the Food Bank as a group. Judi will look into the possibility. Thanks, Judi
On Sunday, October 20th there will be a reverse Tashlich at a Santa Rosa creek. Still working out exact location but please mark your calendars. It will be in morning from 10:-1200 with a potluck to follow. Details pending
