Sunday July 31, starting at 9:30, the Men’s Group plans to serve matzoh brei, fruit, juices coffee and an eclectic array of things to either enhance or spoil the matzo brei depending on how you were raised. Volunteers are welcome to contact Richard Kahn through the CBA office. Since this will be an all-Congregation plus event we will gently request donations but it is a no charge event. RSVPs are very important, and should get to the office by Thursday evening.
The walk we had in Armstron Woods (photo by jerry Newman above) will be followed by an outing on Thursday, August 11, a trip to the coast to go to Doran Beach for walking around enjoying the coast, followed by lunch at the tides. This beach has no access issues, very easy walking. please bring appropriate footwear if you’d like to walk to the edge of the water. I propose that the East County folks carpool from Beth Ami, and the West County folks carpool from the Safeway parking lot in Sebastopol,. I think we ought to get to the beach about 11, and of course have lunch around one. It’s about 45 minutes from BETH AMI to Doran Beach, and about 30 minutes from downtown Sebastopol.I would like to keep mixing it up so that we have different sorts of things to go and see. I propose in September that we go to the growth of old redwoods on Fitz Patrick Lane outside of Occidental. With lunch at Howard’s café.Your faithful secretary, R C Kahn
