Just like in our homes, the CBA Passover plans for the kitchen are being organized. It will be turned upside down to be cleaned of all chametz, and all the regular pots, pans, utensils, etc. will be exchanged for the the pots, pans and utensils used during Passover. So, from Havdalah, Saturday, April 9th (about 8:35 pm) through Sunday, April 24th the kitchen will be unavailable to most as we begin the cleaning and seder preparations for Passover until after the Passover is over and the CBA kitchen is restored to its regular state and the Passover items are put away.
If you have any foodstuffs you want saved that are normally stored in the CBA refrigerator or freezer, please remove them. Anything left after noon of April 8th will be removed from the refrigerator and freezer before the kitchen is made Kosher for Passover.
Remember if you wish to sell your chamatz via Congregation Beth Ami, the completed form is available either on line or in the CBA office and is due by 10:00 am on Friday, April 15, 2022.
