Our Mission

Congregation Beth Ami Membership Information

Welcome to Congregation Beth Ami. We are located in Santa Rosa, California and are affiliated with United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. We are a traditional egalitarian community synagogue open to all Jews who seek to embrace and enhance their Jewish life by nourishing their Jewish heritage, culture and family life through community gatherings and ongoing Jewish education.
In our diverse community we focus on values and ritual through a Jewish lens. We celebrate and commemorate significant dates and events on the Jewish calendar and join together for social, recreational and service needs of the local community. We support Jewish life locally, in the bay area, nationally and in Israel.
Although membership dues are set annually, Beth Ami’s policy has always been to enable all to participate, regardless of financial situation as long as a commitment to contribute is made.
Membership entitles you to members only discounts on events and classes. You are also supporting dedicated staff and clergy committed to bringing contemporary dynamic Judaism to Sonoma County. We meet annually as a community to vote for the Board of Directors and other synagogue related business. Our staff and lay leaders supports all lifecycle events for our members.
Please take a look around our web-pages on what Beth Ami has to offer. We also have a weekly e-bulletin with current events and a bimonthly newsletter. For more information and an application, please contact the office at office@bethamisr.org or call the office, 707-360-3000, and a board member will call you back.
