5-part Zoom course, on

Jan 8-Feb 12

Co-Sponsored by our Israel Committee

Sessions provide the history of Jews and Arabs in the land of Israel

and the evolution of the current Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

To understand the modern-day Israeli/Arab conflict, one must understand the history of both Jewish and Arab connections to the land. Next month, our Israel Committeein partnership with Beth Am Jewish and Israel Advocacy Committee and Contra Costa JCC, is offering an engaging 5-part Crash Course on the History of Israel. This course will provide the history of Jews and Arabs in Israel from ancient times to the present and the evolution of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

We who care about Israel at times find ourselves defending the State. The course is essential, providing answers to tough questions.

And for high schoolers and college-age students who will be facing challenges to their Jewish heritage in school, this course will provide the context they will need in discussions with their peers.

The classes will be on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 11:30 from January 8 to February 12, 2023 (except for January 15, MLK Weekend). Admission for this course is free of charge.

Registration is required.
