Kindergarten Readiness

One of the factors many parents consider when looking for a nursery school is whether their child will be prepared for Kindergarten when his or her time at nursery school comes to an end.

There is a great deal of evidence to show that play-based programs that infuse literacy experiences into the day best prepare students to be fluent readers later on by helping them to connect symbols to sounds and written words, that young children learn through meaningful exploration with rich materials, and that learning to navigate social interactions independently will help them thrive in Kindergarten and beyond.
