Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and guided by the Jewish values of chesed (loving kindness) and kavod (respect/honor), our early childhood program nurtures the whole child – socially, physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. Our teachers work side by side with our students and encourage them to ask questions, follow their instincts, and learn from each other. We work daily on communication and cooperation skills so that they are able to resolve conflicts independently and peacefully. BACNS is committed to meeting the needs of working families in our community, offering full-day and near-year-round coverage for children ages 2-5 in addition to our standard school year and CORE morning school program. We warmly welcome families of all backgrounds and religious affiliations.

“Beth Ami Community Nursery School has been a tremendously positive experience for both of my boys and our family. The teachers are outstanding and are very caring about each child’s well being. The program is nurturing for preschoolers, the facility is set up for lots of fun outdoor play time, and the environment fosters each child’s growth.”
Laurie, Mom of Hunter and Noah

“It was amazing to see the transformation of my daughter during her time at Beth Ami Nursery. She not only learned valuable social and emotional skills, but they showed her how to be a better human being.”
– Susan, mother of Amelia and Seth
