Mr. Carey is Founder and Executive Director of the is US-Israel Law Exchange (an organization to engage practicing attorneys and law students and faculty with Israel’s case through educational webinars and immersive trips to Israel), President and Founder of LegalVision, and Executive Director and Founder of BlueStar. BlueStar is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering the next generation of Israel advocates and leaders by disseminating free resources for campus and community activists, and teach Israel education travel programs for teens, college students, and adults. During the last ten years, more than 5 million people have seen its billboards, outdoor advertisements, posters, fliers, postcards, online campaigns and YouTube videos. Mr. Carey will speak about opportunities for students and adults to help Israel makes its case in the media. BlueStar has so far helped 125 teenagers produce dozens of video documentary films.
The talk follows Shabbat services and is preceded by a kosher dairy pot luck lunch.
